Entire web sites can be created using Flash Animation. Advertising banners are a more common use. Here is an example:

The animation above is an advertisment for a single web site. Clicking anywhere in the banner opens the target site in a new window.

Below is another animation example – an eye-catching menu.

The above animation is a menu with six California-related sites. Moving the cursor over an image displays a caption - clicking opens the associated web page.

There is huge potential in creative Flash animations.
